most forums have this function, and I cant say as Ive noticed it elsewhere or not, but at least here, we can 'like' our own posts.

seems to defeat the purpose of providing some kind of credibility to others about what someone has said. is that a changable function, to just turn it off so we cant 'like' ourselves?
