I love how we've provided proof that spiders are viable and still we have QQ, if you suck in the spider it's not the mech it's you either get better or sell it and move on.

I have to laugh at this sorry but its just so not true

I've posted screen shots in various threads showing my spiders performance, just the other night I got a 5 kill game In my D, the mech is fine now they've increased the hit boxes but a decent pilot can still make themselves hard to hit.

It's just that non spider pilots have been exploiting the bug and gotten used to just running straight through a blod of enemies and only losing 5% armour, those days are over.

Just like when the raven 3L was king it was only ever going to be a short lived thing, spiders had there day now it's over and they are back to being a higher skilled mech.

Exactly. Now I don't have to feal guilty for taking one of my Spiders out for a ride (even though I don't tend to do all that well in them myself-due to my disablement (lack of skill)

The Munchkins are the only one's complaining.

Does that mean anything? No.

It proves a good pilot can do well in that mech.

So the reverse means a bad pilot will do badly in that mech.

In the end its not the mech thats making the difference its the pilot.

Spider 5K, xl285, 4xMG, 1xER Large Laser.

Still wrecks face, after trolling and terrorizing the enemy team! 300-500 damage if not capping on Therma/Alpine.

They still can't hit me! I would say spiders are finally back to normal!

And yes I run in a direct line and power down in just in front of the enemy just to add insult to injury!

First........Not sure how I missed this post.

You sir are CRAY! I still perform just as well in my Spider as I did before. (Win some, Lose some) Do i get hit a bit more when running away? Ya, I just JJ and like usual look at them and fire and put my front, then left and right to them, then land and run like hell.

Try not to engage a mech bigger than you that has taken zero damage, or their entire TEAM......that also helps.

Have fun with that lil guy! 2 more to go after him to master and it get worse! 5V anyone!?

Adjust your back armor a bit, if that dont help then your should upgrade to a Cicada or Atlas..........your call.

I got this score with an XL 300 (or whatever is the biggest) 4 machine guns and a medium laser. Spiders are only useless for people who cannot pilot them. You must PRACTICE using them.
