Well, I' m not sure if this screenshot is from an arranged 12 vs 12 match or a random match... but somehow or other, the award for the worst matchmaker goes to pgi....

Last few weeks, if my team has 1 Assault Mech, I automatically assume the enemy has 4.

Sorry, man. That's tough, especially against Ryan Steel and company. Unfortunately, PGI won't fix tonnage limits until we get a lobby system and we won't get a lobby system until UI 2.0 and we won't see UI 2.0 until... well, your guess is as good as mine. Only thing to do is shrug it off.

Looks like you went up against a premade group.

Tonnage isn't everything, comms are more important. Jenner lances rule.

By my maths one team had 2 Atlases + 1 Battlemaster of tonnage over the other team in extra weapons, armor, engine power, heat dissipation, etc.. (995 - 710 = 285).

Premades really do ruin everything. and the worst part is, i think there is only one premade on the winning team (GG, seeing a trend here?)

Illustrating that there is a need for tonnage limits on premades. Minimum 165 tons, Maximum 265 on 4 mans. Or just put them in their own queue.

The needs to be minimum because sometimes wolf-packing lights can be over powered but more often the screw their team over with a severely underweight drop, as seen above.

the fault lies in stacking premades by Elo as a whole without thought for weight.

The losing teams each have one or two premades made up of mostly lights. the winning teams seems to have a premade made of assault/hvys.

This is simple Elo matching.

Part of their sync drop winded up on our team, once again patterns are starting to show themselves. Do we have a groups problem or a group problem..... hmmmm food for thought.

No this was a PUG match.
My Lance was a 3man premade... with rest PUGs!

I just love how often I get matches like this, as far as Tonnage goes! heh

Lord Steel and gang are VERY organized, only patient gameplay can net you any chance of winning... and PUG's tend to sprint to the enemy.

;)
