That thing is B-E-A-utiful. I could easily see it stomping around being a menace to society.

I like the straight arms versus the art that made them curve. It looks better like that.

Something I have rarely seen are the alternate configurations of the Timber Wolf. Everybody does the pseudo-Prime configuration (I say "pseudo" because the Prime configuration should have 20 tubes on each launcher, not 15 -- like this picture), but there are others with ACs, ERPPCs, SSRMs, and larger/smaller LRM racks that would be cool to look at on a detailed model like yours.

Something like the B configuration -- Gauss Rifle on RA, LPLas and SPLas on LA, SRM-4 w/ Artemis in RT, LRM-10 w/ Artemis in LT. That's what I would like to see.

Beautiful, but my only complaint is it looks skinned. Like, to me it looks like the internal structure is exposed and needs armor plates bolted onto it. Wonderfully rendered internals, but still, raw and exposed Timber Wolf guts. ^_^

The model is fully articulated and if anyone wants a pose to be rendered and posted, let me know. The pic is a montage of images. Remember to zoom in to see the details

Oh hot damn that's sexy! I really REALLY like your torso arrangement so so much more than the original.

Unbelievably amazing work, especially done in just 4 days by yourself! The detail is brilliant and really captured the MWO-style!
Special request: seeing it fire missiles and lasers? Icing on the cake.

See, that's what's so cool about it -- it already has the bike racks built in (you know, like the bike racks on the Phoenix 'Mechs).

thanx guys. Just of intrest. Does anyone know where i can get the background pic that PGI uses to announce new mechs??? I know it must be around somewhere. Seen lots of fan art done on it. Might do a render on that if i can get it. A drooling teaser of what the game one may look like. I would love PGI to approach me about the design but i think they've probably already got one in the works. Prolly a catapault with arms.

Yes! More of this sort of thing! More deaf-wolves!

Its stunning work, very cool change on the centre torso and the chunkier pelvis looks like it holds some actuators now too. Excellent ^_^

I love the design you've made, Hammur... the only thing that looks odd is the thickness of the upper arms... they also seem simplistic compared to the level of detail you've employed in the render.... otherwise, awesome work! Truly cool

Didn't really notice that they were missing, but it does look better with them there.

And Grendel might have something there. Perhaps a 20-30% increase in "beefiness" of the upper arms? They're a bit skinny after looking at the Mad Dog's arms. And adding a cross-hatch pattern like the Mad Dog's arms would help the detail level.
