I posted something similar to this earlier. But I think it is another topic entirely.
pilots and lances should be awarded when they follow commander orders.
Equally, the commander should be able to influence the battle with drones or something to get some credit.

Right now there is no award system for either and no one likes to listen to the commander.

Battlefield does this. They give a small exp reward if you attack/defend, etc. a position that your commander lays down

It depends on how obedient the pugs are. If you say your plan and they immediately team kill you, then that's a problem.
