AC20 is fine. (heavy and only ever 2 with much sacrifice)

Leave GH alone. Just explain it in the UI. No over hauls for a long time now.

Divide mech hardpoints into "light", "medium" and "heavy" ones, which will be based on stock loadout. Heavy tier weapons cannot be mounted on lower tier hardpoints. A PPC cannot replace a medium laser, but vice versa is possible. Promptly remove ghost heat mechanic.

Poptarts get instantly nerfed, no more PPC's into medium laser slots on Highlanders or Cataphracts. Awesomes will be the only mechs capable of mounting 3 PPC's, so they will find their niche. Forums will be lit on fire, many "pros" will fake leaving again but in the end the game won't be fundamentally unbalanced.
