I think if you could customize the paint job of the statues it would make them a lot more marketable.

Now, if giving people free reign is not possible, what about if you did a version for each House? So I could for instance, have a Hunchback Statue painted in FRR colors.

This allows people to show off mechs they really like and their house affiliation.

Obviously people would like it more if they could select their own paint job, it creates something that can actually be personable and totally unique with in the cockpit - but I think the Faction colors is decent alternative that shouldn't be too difficult to implement.
