Everyone stopped learning once "stick together" became the defacto tactic in Conquest.

Riding in someone elses' cockpit only really tells you "X is a better shot then me".

Adding weight limits to the game only feeds the "stop capping" meme, and really doesn't belong in the non-Deathmatch modes: Learn to maneuver, fat-at…

Actually some just wait patiently in hopes it gets fixed or a solo q is added before going back to the grinder. It is no fun to be apart of 12-2 or 2-12 matches and that those steam rolls usually mean a low Cbill count at the end.
The fun isnt there and the grind unbearable.

I see plenty bad Atlas players already, but I take solace in the fact they soak up lots of damage before they die at least. I'm not sure how I can see any more steamrolls, it's rare when its a close fight as it stands now.

Speaking of which, stop me if you've heard this one before

Scene: Canyon mid-steptember, cool afternoon. Sandpit derping along in his Stalker alongside his Atlas ECM buddy after a big firefight. Sand's team is up 7v3 at the moment but Sand's poor Stalker is pretty banged up and smoking a little. His Atlas buddy shows to be at 89% health in the lance info. When all of a sudden, they round a corner and BAM! there's an enemy Stalker...!

*Sand"Atlas buddy help me out here" *Sand derps forward to pew pew the heathen enemy Stalker*

*Atlas buddy ".............." *Atlas pulls back and hides around corner*

Sand "Hey buddy, I could use some help here! I'm banged up and won't hold out much longer, can you soak some damage and help me out?"
Atlas buddy ".............."

Sand "uhm hello? help?" *Sand continues to pew pew pew his heart out dueling the heathen*
Atlas buddy "................."

Sand "Dude! come help! please?!?!? You have like no damage!
Atlas buddy ".............."

*Teammate Derp "He's out of weapons dude, quit asking him to help and just do it yourself. Quit QQing."
Sandpit "So, being out of weapons prevents you from soaking some damage and still helping your team win somehow?"
Teammate Derp "uhm, well uhm. DERP! Derp, DERP derp DERP!"

That may be sad for the game but not so much for the Forums. He was a bit to cocky for someone playing a game.

Kinda like someone who, when I complimented their in game tactics, told me to take notes... As if I did do in real life what they were simulating in a game .

Have you all forgotten that the ELO is the mythical E-Peen system that is all make believe? No one knows what their ELO score is and never will, nor is it public so we don't what everyone elses looks like either. Only Paul and the devs get to look at our E-Peen Length Observations (ELO) and laugh at their smallness or cower at their prowess. Everyone should know by now that the Matchmaker is nothing more than a hat that is given to an AI version of Roadbeer who randomly picks the names out of a hat and matches based on what would be the most troll-like game possible.

they need to go back to weight class matching. tonnage limits are a bad idea and will hurt the game more then it will help.

I think the matching system is broken. That or so few people are still playing it has very little to chose from. A large majority of the time when solo launching I am placed on a team that gets completely rolled. And/or placed on a team that is missing one or two players. I am constantly on teams with players roaming around by the themselves, going AFK, running into the middle of death and anything else you can imagine that you shouldn't do. All the while the opposing team is a tightly knit pack, focus firing everything in sight. Why does this happen?

I'm not trying to complain so much as I am to understand what the hell is going on. MWO is not a one man show, so no matter how well I do it simply doesn't matter. I love so many parts of this game, but the horrid matching is driving me away. And recently I find it gets worse every week. That or I have the worst luck in the world and karma is due for a big payback.
