In a word, yes.
You'll have to be a bit more specific though if you're looking for members of any particular league/game community/etc.
I suggest playing your 25 matches (to unlock full forum use) then checking out the outreach & barracks sections.

Yep - once you clear those 25 drops, there's definitely big threads dedicated to this very thing OP!

PS: Been playing since Cresent Hawks Inception. Have been a leader in the Blazing Aces since MW4.

HI..
I have spent ages playing mw4 in multiplayer, in different leagues. My nick there was [ES] Pirana and my favourites mechs were the 45tons clan Shadow Cat (with 3 C ERLarge Laser) and Marauder (2CPP+ Lb10x), when going light i was in a 35tons Wolfhound and when assault, in a highlander with dual gauss.
Now, im in my third day playing MWOL, i have lots of question. Game play is so similar to the old mw4, the mechs are so similar to the battletech table game specifications. Here, you can find in weapon mixes an advantage, not a trouble like in the old mw4. THIS IS GREAT!!
well, maybe the game deserve waste some euros in it.
and again: THIS IS GREAT!!

Save up the earnings from the first 25 matches. both of you, and do not spend it piecemeal. You get a so called cadet bonus to help you kit out a mech. And you get a free day of premium time. Activate and play as many games as possible in that free day to maximise your cadet bonus.
Never sell anything, spend your MC best on Mech bays and converting XP to GXP on days when that rate is doubled. (Like last weekend). If you have to sell mechs, strip them of all items first, as you have unlimited storage on those, but not mechs.
Useful XL Engine sizes to have
280
300
350
360
(If you run a raven, that takes a 295 XL, so watch out).

I started playing MechWarrior 2: Mercenaries in 1996! Loved the franchise, but lost track of it around 1999 when my second child was born (and I ran out of time and money
). I was so stoked (does anyone even say that anymore?) when I found MWO had been released - been playing since Jan 2013 and loving it.
