I was looking through the UI2.0 test feedback thread yesterday, and it was rather depressing. It seems to be nowhere near done.

There is no really positive feedback except for the "It looks nice",but it is also legit feedback and not just QQ.
Too much clicking and no overview is really bad for your usability experience...

And they are already developing this for how long? 9 months now?

Well I hope most of work they have done Is one we don't see. So I hope they can switch things around and make it good fast.

There is always resistance to change, but in this case the resistance is well founded. UI 2.0 is a huge step back in the usability of the interface, not only for the mech lab but for the other features as well.

I hope they respond to the feed back in a positive manner.

I know this sounds like heresay or crazy, but why isn't there UI 2.0 mockups of CW at all?

Actually it's not. A consolish UI would be streamlined, reduced on the essential things you need and everything would be within reach of maybe 5 klicks.

This is a UI that "works with controllers" - hell, I would take a good console UI everyday instead of this.
