Dear Devs

It is utterly discouraging that no matter what the 4 of us do, our win situation is based on 8 others who usually have no clue how to fight or defend.
Is this ever going to be addressed?

Nope. I've read a few things from them that basically come down to;
1)They don't have the skill or knowledge necessary to correctly implement VOIP.
2) They don't want to give us VOIP (for whatever reasons, but they DO NOT WANT it in the game)
3) They seem to think that random TS is plenty enough for the whole game.
So basically pretend that you just spoke your post to a dev in person and then they spit on your face and dented your car.

In actuality the only time it was ever used was in tank companies and even then you generally had people pop on your ts server as even there the trolls would come in lobby while in match and do their stupid noises.

Hate to say it because as much as voice coms can help, this is exactly what I'd do in PuG games. I've had about all of the open mic games I will ever tolerate.

I've been running a poll and a debate about the good and bad things about VOIP.
If you think VOIP is bad for any reason, I've probably already made a counter argument.
Please see my thread here: http://mwomercs.com/...-sorely-needed/

I think PGI just doesn't want to pay to host VoIP traffic, that's all.

I won't but... I could... go get a list of games FROM PRE-2000 that have integrated VOIP.
They have no excuse. It makes them look pathetic as ****.

yes.. I know this is not Xbox Live.. .and PC gaming has always been the forefront for Multiplayer gaming and VOIP.....
...but with todays kids playing these games... unless I"m gaming with my Friends on Thursday or Friday... I do not want to bother with the headache that is Pugging...
In 2002 I played Soldier of Fortune 2 CTF random map generator largest server in the world.. with no VOIP... I could type perhaps 10 words a minute at best...
After a year I was up to 60 words a minute... and I could convey simple (Enemy at G5 or At Base) so quick it...
If VOIP was around for that game... I Would still be a crappy typer.... PC gaming actually helped me and as a Light mech scout I can quickly type simple sentences that explain where the enemy is,ect... Its not rocket science..
I do agree a VOIP in game would be nice... but I would not use it... C3 or TS with Friends is the way to go
