Generally when i start playing for an extended period of time, my first match determines how good ill do. For example, if i do well and get 3-5 kills ill do horrible for the rest of my time while i'm playing. But if i do horrible and die with 0-2 kills ill do fine in later matches. Am i the only one?

My guess is: it's motivation. When I have a bad match I keep tryharding and concentrating until I have a couple of good games and move up my KDA back to target values, but when I have a couple of really good matches I feel like my work is done, so I move onto another mech.

Or, in my case after that first match, I remember that this is no longer a brawling game and put my 2LBX,4MG Jager-DD on ice.

My KC40 (Boomkitteh) begs to differ

So do a lot of Jager players I see. And my Ac20 Victor.
If I were you I'd go 2xLBX and 4xML. Or Ac10s. I've seen a few Jager pilots do well with those builds.

Given the meta, I've had to go 2AC10/4MG lately. The build doesn't really work with LBXs right now. Which makes me sad.

I play my Yen Lo almost exclusively, so while I may have a poohpooh streak to start the night off, tis usually due to me not being "in the zone" yet, and once I get into said zone, I don't usually dip under 300 damage and a kill or two for the rest of the night unless I do something horribly stupid early on.
