Hello,

I haven't played MWO in a bit. Just updated the game and found myself in a game, that was obviously network-dead, i.e. lots of displayed disconnects after game was live for about 30 seconds, then obviously all network update triggered stuff came to a full stop (mech position updates, fire, etc.). I mean this isn't an alpha, beta or testing server version, I was playing retail. Before the network dropped for everyone I heard other people say: PGI deleted all the messages about lag. At that point I didnt even know what "lag" the guy was talking about. Is there any message from PGI whether this is quality we gotta live with or if they are gonna fix it?

This has been an on and off problem. Since the last patch, it happens to me quite a bit.

I have had this happen once, ended up being a 4vs4 match by the time all the disconnects happened. ODD. :D

There is been reports of several individuals who may trigget this kind of bad behaviour lag in certain matches.

Reasons or explanations about why it happens can't be provided yet and remain out of everyone grasp even from those persons suffering or theorically causing it.

From comments of people who dropped in voice comms with them and tried to find/help them to check if there was something special within their conexion/system/game this happening are fairly random (you can get 4-5 matches and nothing happen then happen at next).

Personally i haven't suffered yet.

I have had over 20 disconnects during a match in the last three days. This is getting to the point of nearly unplayable. I had no problems before the last patch.

I've been getting random massive lag spikes.

What's weird is my ping doesn't even change, it stays at 80-100ish yet the game starts stuttering like if I had 1000+ ping or something.

It's really annoying.

Just sat through a match where every player showed normal ping but each lagged / rubber banded so bad the game was totally un-playable. Text typed had a 37 second delay....... this is definitely new.

Ive seen weird games with mass disconnects but never anything like this.

It's one of those things where you wonder if these memory leaks would eventually occur on the servers just as much as the users.

It would be nice to plug in these leaks (both server and client) and stop using those hand optimizations... because we're starting to find the unintended consequences.
