Can't get the Bombardier. Doesn't have 3 variants in the timeline.
BMB-12D and BMB-10D are all that is available. All the other variants use tech and weapons that haven't been invented yet.

its likely to NOT be possible
due to the fact that it looks like an archer and Harmony Mold does not want anything that looks or deals with the unseen
s.a Archer,Warhammer,Rifleman,Marauder,Crusader,Valkyrie,Stinger,Wasp,Phoenix hawk

Hm - regarding DevBlog 0 Harmony Gold shouldn't have influence on the game.
It doesn't look like an Archer - if so - than MS shouldn't have brough the Thanatos into MW4
However - why should the Bombardier ever be brought into the game? We allready have a 65t missile Mech.
Without unique perks and quirks for each Mech and variant - its not necessary.
Funny thing is - PGI did say they don't use the Timeline anymore - so with given technology they could bring any Mech from the TROs before 3060
Although the number of variants will become a problem

PGI isn't using the timeline for PR (via such things as ISN News posts, tweets, and so on) at the moment.
They have explicitly stated in ATD 50 that the timeline is still in effect with regard to what equipment would be available, or considered for availability, in-game.

Hello MechWarriors!
Here's the Ask the Devs 50 (Quickfire Edition)!
Thanks to Bryan for the multitude of answers. Stay tuned for the new format of Ask the Devs, coming SOON™

#13 Xenroth: What do you think about not-so-common weapons that already exist in the timeline, like the Long Tom and Swarm LRM? Will we see them in the future?
A: We're focused on Clan tech weapons and items currently. After that we can look at adding any other items that are currently available in the 3050 era.
-----
#43 Sir Stomps A Lot: Any chance we'll see a small ballistic weapon other than machine guns in the near future? My Locust 1V(P) would really like some variety.
A: If it's in the timeline and available, eventually.

That being said, a 'Mech does (currently) need to have at least three variants (with distinct designations, seemingly regardless of the actual similarity of loadout & minimum hardpoint distribution - see QKD-4G vs QKD-4H & HGN-732 vs HGN-733) canonically extant in or before 3050 in BattleTech to be a likely candidate for inclusion in MWO.
Three variants are necessary, so that the 'Mech's post-Basic efficiencies can be unlocked in the (current) XP system.

So: Mechs like Pillager and Thunder Hawk - only two variants atm - won't make it
But Mechs like Crossbow and Ymir could make it - but they are extinct in the Lore
But at least - I hardly know Mechs that will add some more diversity to the game.
