First thing I thought when I saw this mech was Streak boat. Beings though I already own 4 Jenners I think I will pass on this one. Anyone make a streak boat yet? If so how was it? I was thinking 300XL engine, double heat sinks, endo and FF armor and BAP. Wonder how effective this build would be.

Without JJs and ECMs around, it will be hard to play a streak Jenner without lasers.

At least Comm-2D has a ECM which can jam other ECM lights to be effective.

Do not even consider the Commando, it's terrible.

Mount a BAP and you'll be fine. If you run into more than one ECM, it'll be rough, but in team games you'll have wingmen running it too. While it lacks JJs, it's VERY good, and as 4 Streaks it's optimal.

Again, just make sure you have BAP.

PS: The answer is very very effective. This might be the new king of anti-light lights.

It's worth noting that the one ECM won't do any better at preventing this than a BAP on the Jenner, too.

I'm running it as a streak boat, XL 300, Ferro Fibrous, Endo-Steel and Double Heatsinks, maxed armor, 300 SSRM ammo and a BAP.

Only downside is when there is more than one ECM jamming you.

And I suppose lack of jumpjets could be considered a downside, but since they just make you glide at best anyway...

It suffers from the same issue that all streak reliant mechs do: RNG. I ghosted one awhile ago that had a perfect opportunity to get kills on assault mechs it had snuck up on, but that ended with a dead jenner because despite hammering away with streaks, they just don't have the punch to open that kind of armor. So like the streaktaro, this mech will be devastating against a very small portion of other mechs and absolutely helpless against others.

My opinion: situational at best.

But very entertaining.
