Hey guys!
Today I ran to the store, a twenty clenched in my hand that i earned through 'bout a week of work, which is the only way i had to make money, Battletech has been around longer than I have. I bought a Visa 20$ gift card and started to look up minis on Ebay, (I prefer there, they have more available and typically their cheaper.) and now I honestly don't know which ones to get.
The AFFS has been a favorite of mine since i was a wee lad watching my dad and brother play, and now I've got some people from my High school interested, and they won't actually order any minis until I show them some of mine, why I don't know, but I can guarantee they all will join me at the battle table either way.
What I'm currently stuck between, (I can only get One Heavier Mini and one lightweight, please note)
Heavier:
Victor (variant not Listed, Gonna Guess 9B form the looks)
Hammerhands HMH-3D
Lights:
Commando IIC ( again, no variant)
dart DRT-3S
Thanks for the help guys and expect pictures of them when they get here and get painted!

Don't care about the stats: always decide because:
Can't say about the Hammerhands - but the Victor without modification looks ugly eighter (i have sawed off its head, and limbs) for repositioning.
Must look if i found a picture somewhere: here pics from camo specs - both look neat and clean....
http://camospecs.com...ure.asp?ID=5650 -> Victor - more details
http://camospecs.com...ure.asp?ID=5075 -> Hammerhands
But without some serious modifications:
http://camospecs.com...ure.asp?ID=6485
The hammerhands looks ugly / on some other pics...
However its a good Mech.
- you like the mini
- you like the Mech so much

Hey man, Thanks for the tips
I did a bit of last minute research, and turns out that the hammerhands has Jump jets! Probably common knowledge, but I'm just getting acquainted to Battletech. I ended up going with the hammerhands, and a quick skim of the light mech list over at Sarna let me find a third possible light option, A Copperhead! I know it's a Solaris Mech, but one of my friends is getting a swarm of locust and a streak SRM 4 would be wonderful thing to have, and It's probably just me, but the two seem like they would go together well.
Thanks for all the help man, and expect some pictures soon, because oh lordy am I gonna take some.

Interesting choice
the weapons are optimized for 3/6/9
for the copperhead. the supercharger is a nice addition.
the hammerhands have some serious badass versions.
when you got the luck To get the chance To made a aimed shot with two rotarys 5 you may obliberate almost any target in one salvo

by the way direct ordering from Ironwind Metals (formerly Ral Partha) is usually cheaper than ebay (collections that people are selling are another matter all together) the classic battletech box set I think still includes minis (plastics but still good) and a good way to cheaply (mostly)
