So I've just received my new Razer Anansi and it has a couple extra keys that can be bound to macros or various keys on the keyboard. I didn't see a better place to put this so I hope this is where this topic belongs.

But anyways, I'm wondering what kind of actions I should bind to these 5 extra keys? Do any of you have any special keybinds or macros you find particularly useful in a variety of situations? I have an infinite number of profiles as well so if there are sets of binds/macros that suit a certain playstyle (scout, for example), I can simply create a new profile for that role.

Let me hear what you've got! (Aside from the obvious special timing for niche loadouts like 4xAC/5)

An on/off toggle function for TAG (same for armlock) is all I can think of other than weapons grouping, cycling, or firing, as there is little to no reason to use macros in MWO beyond that. There are no more combination key events like old uac5 gun jamming or old override shutdown mechanics that operated by more than a single keysroke.

If you can tie your macros to mouse sensitivity it's nice to automatically toggle to a much lower setting when you use advanced zoom. Basically it's just firing weapons, and it's silly we have to use 3rd party software to get the firing control we should have natively.

I'd say things like tag, airstrikes, cooling flushes.

Good luck with that Anasi BTW. A lot of them have had issues with keys just getting stuck after awhile. I'm not talking about the physical keys being too tight, just the software decides the key is still being pressed. The only way to unstick it is to unplug it and plug it back in.

Here's hoping you don't end up with that issue ^^

Other than TAG being made a toggle (and armlock, the only other toggle-able function), the functions suggested as well as arty strike and UAV, only req a single keypress and there is no reason to use a macro.

I've had a bad history with Razer products not holding up, and yet I keep buying more from them... I'm with you on that one.

I'll definitely do one for TAG.
