I'm glad someone proved they wan't to look smart without even reading the OP.
I'm not claiming they are Op, nor complainning about how they need to be nerfed or removed.
All i ask is Gosh!! just a friggin minimap signal indicating some artillery or air strike it's falling in the area go figure.. game breaking for sure.
P.S: Funily enough i posted this in either Feature suggestion or General discussions, but some Forum Dev tought it belonged to Metagame...

Funny I don't remember saying anything about arty being op either.

Using in pugs, today played ~10 games in 12 vs 12. Really, not a problem. Was hit a few times, but nothing serious. But it's hillarious when the enemy gets tunnel vision and you are able to place them so you get lots of hits. But kills are rare anyway. No OP, works just fine. I see smoke on my own easilly and just don't stay still for long. The problem is in the people. And as any other thing, it will wear off with time. Also many will see that it's quite costly to use them all day round. I'm getting used to that enemies loose their heads, try to make a successful air/arty strike and get right into my crosschairs. Usually die...
This thread is ridicilous. This is just a wine from the casual players. Guess what - MWO IS NOT CASUAL! Deal with it.

I don't know if they're OP or need a map marker, but they're getting annoying. I'm seeing multiple mechs in matches take both Air and Arty strikes now, and making suicide runs at the enemy just to drop their strike. First you'll get the lights coming in and dropping them, and then the Heavies will usually bring a couple as well. I've had matches where 6 go off back and forth between the teams as soon as the cooldowns are up. I'm just plain sick of seeing them at this point.

People love arty and air strike and they will use it every time they can, but that doesn't mean it is OP but, just like every other thing in game that is used a lot will get nerf and threads about refund will grow like ones that say it is OP

Air strikes are the new cheese? The thing that will take away half or a third of your PUG earnings and you only get one of them per match? Amazingly op, must nerf.
Yeh, I only use arty if im on a good run and have earned a heap of c-bills + when i want a bit of extra fun.. ..other than that the real guns and a decent aim do all the hard work.
