Do you have any gamepads or similar devices attached to your system?
If the answer is yes, please disconnect those and try again.

this sometimes happens to me, Just alt+tab out and click back in without pushing any keyboard buttons. That usually clears it for me. Conversly if you are using a gamepad (like nostromo) you may have to reload the key mappings.

Greetings all,
Normally this effect is caused by a joystick or other device being listed as your primary control device.
- the game is sending quires to the device and receiving or not receiving the input signal required to turn.
- Depending on how many USB devices you have plugged in, and if they are plugged into low or high power USB ports, it will effect how they are assigned in games.
Check in the MWO "settings" that there is not a conflict in your "key bindings".

Good tips.......... It's a shame that none of them work.
I found this bug when I dropped on the testing server the other day, had no probs with it on any other test, also had just left the main client to do the testing, all I could do was turn left, so stuck it out for six drops just to get the free day, sweet done, back to main client, kill mechs, all functions are back but I did have a prob with the main client and that is a random crash giving me the usual 'Cry Engine error, 0 bytes found out of', and so on. I had used the repair tool many times to fix it and all would be fine for a while, now yesterday, 28/4, I had two crashes, both with the same Cry Engine message, this is after two days of last using the repair tool, so thought enough is enough time for a fresh install. Deleted all MechWarrior content, main, test and tool, reinstalled the main client again and what do I find on my first drop, the left turn bug on the spot, did not have it before the reinstall and its the same bug that I had on the testing server and before writing this I have done another fresh reinstall making sure that all mech tek was gone and drivers that I didnt need with the game on all default settings but still the same even on practice maps.
Why I should have the same bug in my main client now, as I had in the testing servers is a mystery but then so are PGI for their talent in forming these things to torment us, I also doubt if the patch today, 29/4, will fix it either. I feel that is where the bug is and has bled over in some way, either through prep work on the main servers for it to be ready for the input of data, (Launch Module One), remeber I did say that I did the reinstall yesterday 28/4.
The only thing that I did when I was installing the client was redeem my one free day, this turning on the spot is an old bug as well, as far as I can remember
