I want to play again so something must happen.

1. Made it a Play Mode.
Drop 12 man as a team together as before the patch and drop them like it is now. Let us choose how to drop by the play mode. Spread or team.

2. Real random Droppoints.
Set 8 Drop/Spawnpoints per map, so then we have 3 on all sides of the map. Now drop red and blue.
Every team get one point, this could be toward or right beside the other team and every point between. Change this every Match by a random Generator.
Here too, i would suggest, make it a gamemode how to drop, spread or as a team.

P.S.: I am on vacation now so I would appreciate if You could implement this fast.

I'd like to suggest that when dropping with lances spread out, the minimap in the starting screen (Drop Prep) should display the location of the three lances as well as capture and / or base points. That would allow the possibility of the "team," and I use that term VERY loosely for public games, to coordinate for those LONG 20 seconds before the game starts.

It's not like we've been given any choice when the MatchMaker plops a Light Lance in front of an Assault Lance. Sure, they dying starts faster now but all too often it's just as one sided as it was before. Before teams had to choose to scatter like chickens with their heads cut off. Now they've been forced to start that way ... in randomly organized Lances.
