Brightness And Fade To Black

The game became darker as of last patch. I was playing at 0.5/0.5 brightness/gamma. Had to buff gamma to 0.7 to get somewhat similar visuals as prepatch. Buffing brightness affects UI too much as it becomes too bright so it's not really a good workaround. And this change wasn't even in the patchnotes. Just... wtf??

Also I'd like to mention that "fade to black" bug still itsn't fixed. That is when you shoot or get shot, explosion effects go around you and the screen goes darker and darker. Turning glow effects off isn't helping as well. This thing is really problematic especially on darker maps like River Night.

Yeah, this thread is talking about pretty much the same thing. There used to be a bug with the Catapults that they glowed so bright the HDR went nuts and blanketed the screen. I'm experiencing similar things when firing LRMs in my atlas. The missiles fill the screen for a second making everything go black.

It's not only TT that is affected. I bet all or almost all maps got hit. It's just easier to notice the difference on darker maps like therma, river night or colony.

And yeah fade to black is here for months now and still isn't fixed...
