2 Games in a row now I've been deliberately shot by a team mate off the spawn. First time I just left the D**k and joined another lance. 2nd time though really pissed me off. Now I know this will never help the situation but that time I retaliated after a lack of apology and another burst to my back. That guy got his cockpit blown out.

For the rest of the team in that match I apologise for basically putting the team 2 mechs down (I didn't really feel in the mood to actually try after that incident) but to the guy I killed..... Get F****d.

Most of them are trolls that don't read these forums, or if they do, they are the ones that hope this game fails and are deliberately trying to **** people off. The rest are 13 year old little boys who have no other outlet for their angst than to shoot someone in the back, because they are mistreated at school or home. I would say report them and ignore them, but I'm not sure how many times someone has to be reported before they are banned. I personally have reported (and my unit members as well) a certain gamer that has something to do with a tire manufacturer in the US several times and he still seems to be in game doing stuff to **** people off. Don't let it get to you. Finish the match, go get a drink or a snack (time for the **** orifice to get in a different drop) and enjoy the rest of your matches.

Thankfully in my current bracket i dont see these back stabbing trolls but i remember a while back it happened far too often, i feel for you dude.

And the killer is your not even allowed to turn around and retaliate as they can report you for it, madness.

Happened to me just now. Some guy in another lance shot an atlas in the back, and the atlas pilot immediately killed our lancemate Makro (who did nothing more threatening than standing behind the guy), and damaging myself and several others when we already had a disconnect.

Yes, 'test-firing' weapons is idiotic and pointless, but ripping armor off half your team doesn't fix the 2% damage on your back, and makes you look like an ***.

Report them for friendly fire everytime. Enough reports occur, accounts get looked at and sometimes banned. Yes they can make a new account but hopefully you are working yourself out of thr new guy brackets so it should impact you less and less.

Thing is once you start firing the problem escalates.

Had a case where a lancemate had (well lets call it a misfire) and fired exactly 1 AC volley into a team mate at start. They were in the same voice chat as me and I am confidant it was just a dammit moment.

Their victim promptly turned on them and began circle strafing them

Another team mate saw that and turned on the circle strafer..

a fourth joined in tho god knows why.

Result bags of bad feeling and a loss for us all. Though interestingly nobody TK'd anyone!

So please "test" your weapons in the training grounds, and please don't retaliate you might have the wrong end of the situation...
If its a deliberate TK then send it up to support.

Thats cause you cant prove it, nobody is watching, no in game admins. Those come with community run servers and i dont think thats ever gonna happen here.

I accidentally murdered a Cicada pilot the other day. He stepped in front of me just as I pulled the trigger on my AC/20. I tried to apologize to him but he rage-quit before I could finish typing it out. I really was genuiinely not trying to shoot him. I was zoomed in on a Boom-Jaeger a couple hundred meters away from me trying to line up the shot. Jaeger hits my crosshairs and I fire when suddenly a cicada torso pops up in front of me and promptly explodes. Pretty sure convergence only let one of the AC/20s hit him, but still 20points to a Cicada's rear right torso is going to mulch his XL.

As for that d-ball that shot ME in the back a week ago just cuz he thought it would be funny. Please proceed to the nearest flame filled chasm and throw yourself into it.
