I could use some help. I am unable to launch the game in the 64 bit game client, Get the error missing MSVCP100.dll.
I have read the forums tried every thing from re-installing the Microsoft visual CC, ran updates for every thing, re-installing the game, up date graphics card, My computer is 64 bit .
I have game set to force 32 bit client
Any ideas ??

Alas, I can't help you, but I have the same problem. I sent in a request to support for help this morning. Nothing yet.

I had been intermittently losing the client mid-game for the last several days. Complete inability to launch a match (I can start the client and start a game but the client drops after the map loading screen) started last night (so doen't appear to be related to any patch or any recent change). Ran the repair tool late last night and "fixed" all the mis-matched files. But have tried to join a public match three times since, and each time the client drops out and returns me to my desktop following the map loading screen.

Forgive my ignorance, but does forcing the game to run 32 bit client allow you to play? If so please let me know how you set the game to do that.

Update:
On a whim I reloaded Drx 11 and then could not even start MWO. So interwebs recommended reinstal. Stripped all MWO files from computer and re installed MWO fresh. Now I can play again in 64 bit. Still no word from PGI. Can make a guess that incompatability issue was caused by a bad install of Drx but that is just a guess.

Same here. I can force 32 bit and play, but not in 64 bit. I'm on the newest build of Windows 10.

I had this same problem, but some thread on this forum contained a link that had the necessary download (from Microsoft's website), if I could just remember which thread (or even which subforum it was in) I would link it here.

Alas, my memory fails me. So much for helping people!

I would guess that works, but that was not the thread I remember. :P
Still, that is handy to have for those who may still have the problem. :)

I'm pretty sure it had it's own thread when they made the 64-bit client the default.

Probably did. I seem to recall quite an outrage when suddenly "nobody" could run the game.
Too lazy to sift through the forums to try and find everything, though; there is a LOT to go through, even if you know which subforum to look in. :P

I had to run in 32bit mode first then exit and re-open in 64bit to get it to work in Win10.
