I could visit by :) is it atleast active?

The 5th have mostly transitioned as well. We're not as active as the 1st, neither do we have practice times, so you won't see as many of us on but you're free to drop with anyone. I've been encouraging our guys to use the dropships a bit more.

It is down...I think TS is having an issue, as Isengrim TS is also having trouble tonight.

Looks like it went down. I figured out the reason, but don't understand why and why now and not x number of weeks/hours/days ago. It's back up now, running in limited operation wrt to the slots available (these will be enough for the short term). Expect some further, shorter, downtime as I try to fix the root cause so this won't happen again and restore normal operation.

Thanks, Martino! I think you had mentioned before we were at 32 slots before obtaining the license...is that still the current limit or is it more, once the server goes back up to full capacity?

Sorry to hear that 19cico96...I always see people there, but during peak US time zones. If you're in Croatia, I have feeling a lot of the European FRR guys tend to stick to their own servers for now, probably due to lag, language barriers and ease of use.

It's the internet, people are there when they are playing games and not 24/7. You most likely just visited during off-peak hours.

Currently that is the limit (we've never exceeded 32 so not worried in the short term). I filed a ticket with TS to understand why this happened, but I don't expect any reply from them soon due to the holiday season. So for now we're at 32, but expecting to go to full capacity once this is resolved. It should work fine for now, and I'll try to keep server reboots and configuration changes to off-peak times to minimise impact on anyone using it.

I'm a European user myself and have no lag, neither have I had any reports from other EU users. In fact the server is hosted on a fast link with good transatlantic routing from my tests.

A bit of good news, although not really related to the issue with the server going down (still waiting on TS folks to get back to me), is that we now have a free domain! (www.)frrhub.tk will now take you to the website, and the same address and the port 9725 will take you to the TS server. This means that you no longer have to use the hard-to-remember IP address, although that will still work and may be more efficient/reliable in some cases.

Btw, frr-hub.tk with the hyphen should work as well.

With regards to the server running at limited capacity... TeamSpeak as a company are a bunch of ******. You wait days your support ticket to be picked up, and then they tell you that they can't help you. Off to file a support ticket with the VPS hosting service, hopefully they will be more helpful as TeamSpeak are unwilling to fix THEIR issue.

Just to let you all know, the server will be going down for a couple of hours on Saturday as we will switch to a different IP address. I will try to do this during lunch GMT time when there shouldn't be much traffic. Apologies for the inconvenience.

The new IP address is 162.243.239.158. However you should be using frrhub.tk, as this will get updated automatically. For now it doesn't work as I changed it just recently, but it should propagate across the Internetz in the next hour or so.

Edit: frrhub.tk should be pointing to the correct server now.

Please use frrhub.tk as primary. If that doesn't work then use the IP address as fallback.

It's the same. Everything is the same, just the server address has moved to a different IP.

And we're back up at full capacity. Time to submit the details to Reddit's listings.
