I don't know if this is a glitch or something on my end maybe someone else can confirm this happens to them too.

With my Shadow hawk (P) and Thunderbolt (P) When firing with a machine gun in any weapon group and then firing a chain fire medium laser group i cannot fire them any faster than the chain fire will allow me. I cannot click the chain fire medium laser group to make them fire faster it is like they are stuck on the fire button being held down. Does this happen to anyone else too or just me?

I have not tried this for any other mech so if this happens for other mechs too maybe someone can put a response of it happening to them.

Yeah this is an "old" issue. It applies to all weapons fired in chainfire. If you hold the fire button on another weapongroup the chainfired group will only switch weapons when the whole firing animation is done, I.E. after a laserbeam stops.
It is very annoying at times and obviously most noticeable with chainfired laz0rs.

Ugh so I guess it is intentional for some reason. I will forgo using machine guns with multiple lasers of any kind then. Hope it changes though I would like to have more med lasers on my Thunderbolt without having to set each laser to a different weapon group.

I dont think its intentional, just never been addressed/very low priority.

its very annoying when using tag with say lrm5's
