So I've got to know...how hard is it to program this? I mean, it's a text chat robot...I mean really...It's so fun mid game to lock up and not know what's going on, only to find out it's you guys cycling your servers for a new sale...it's that kind of thing that keeps hardcore gamers out. They'd rather be leveling a character/mech/toon/whatever in a place they know will be available...or even if it's not, they'll know for approximately how long...or what reason it's not available...'nuff said.

They added this in about three patches ago or so. I was ecstatic because it was an issue that I had been harping about for...well a year or so.

There is a red text message that appears in the chat window at 15, 10 and 5 minutes to shutdown respectively.

So what your saying its " the hardcores" cant remember that every tues.@1pm (est.) the server go down?

I don't think that's a hardcore issue, that's more like a noob issue. Anyone who's been playing MWO since launch(Sept.) should know by now when and what times servers go down.
Its always been the same time an hasn't changed (unless you yourself changed time zones then that's on you)
