Just tested and confirmed this, the JR7-D and JR7-K center torso hardpoints now match the Oxide's. The JR7-D now has 2 M(10,5) hardpoints, while the JR7-K has one M(10) hardpoint.

I'm guessing this was an oversight, as it wasn't in the Patch Notes, and Smurfy's still has the old hardpoint info.

The (accidental?) buff does little to improve existing builds or add new options, though it does make the Oxide look a bit worse in comparison.

Another note: the Jenner's right arm is tilted off by around 2 degrees.

If by "buffed", you mean that they now receive the dynamic hardpoints, then yes. Otherwise, all their stats are the same.

Heck I'd even go so far as to say that the second launcher point in the -D is a nerf. SRM spread from that set of tubes is greater than from the original set.

It would've been better had this been posted in say, smurfy's thread.

Well that, and the fact that the SRM 6, LRM 5, and LRM 10 now fire in a single volley when equipped to either chassis.

Still doesn't change the 2xSRM4 on the D, but does slightly benefit both with a single SRM6.

The real question is, why bother with SRMs and bad hit registration, when you can just do 2xPPC and jump?

It was in the patch notes:

Patch Notes for December 3rd Patch said:

Greater visual weapon customization for the Jenner variants. Their appearance will better reflect the weapons that have been equipped on them.

I just checked all four of my Jenners, and I don't see any misalignment on the arms. Of course, it's difficult to tell exactly due to the extremely dirty skin on the Jenner. Like the other 'Mechs that were originally Founders, they are so dirty that most pattern/color combos look way different on them than on newer 'Mechs. They need to clean those up.

It's a rather awkward imitation of the Meta. Then again, I've still been derping around with my JR7-K build. I might try it.

The K is increasingly less craptacular with the arty and airstrike buff. SRM6 4xMLas 2xJJ 300XL would be a passable build, if SRMs hit right. So I'd say it got a slight buff with the Oxide release, in that you could have an SRM6 in the K now that fired all 6 at once instead of in two waves. The LRM10 build is less annoying to run now, too, though admitedly it's not a 'five star' build on MechSpecs.

Why bother giving the tube 'buff' to the -D though? If I want to use an SRM6 gimme the K, If I want 2 SSRM2s...
GIMME THE D
Seriously why is it so hard to buff the useless variants?
