Is this supposed to be a coincidence? Clan teasers just after the last round of announcements blew into their faces?
Smells like a mystery. Smells like a conspiracy. Smells like delicious forum rage.

Facts:
This is the shadow of a Mad Cat.
This shadow looks like in-engine
This shadow is perfectly well placed, if you imagine the mech standing behind the building there, you can see that the shadow is right.
The shadow looks like this from Alex:
Either this is a great fake or a real thing.
Get excited guys!

I am not bashing pgi my point on this is how many times has pgi put out some type of teaser and the players go crazy about it. Then there is a huge backlash when it is not what 80% of the players thought it was. besides I am wrong on the anubis it has been pointed out to me on my team forums that the anubis came out in 3063

Unfortunately, Clans will be "prepared" by PGI to be balanced against IS tech. They explicitly stated that Clan Tech of the 3050 Invasion will not be OP,...
AS IT ALWAYS HAVE BEEN AND SHOULD BE, PERIOD!!!
I dreamed to see 5 vs 12 matches (Star vs Company), but unfortunately PGI can't balance by numbers, because their palyerbase is too scarce to complicate matchmaker even more and because they are probably afraid of IS mechs becoming obsolete and Clan Mechs emerging as kinda P2W.
So yes, we are ready, don't get too excited. It's possible that Clan Tech balance will initially be somewhat offset (though not necessary making the Clans more powerful and not other way), but it will more or less settle down eventually.

Patience is a virtue. Negative people need other hobbies in the meantime to keep them occupied.
Watched pot doesn't something something.
People will look back on this in 2 years and will not believe the negativity of this community. Why PGI develop anything for self-righteous, pompous, down-talking, green-grass-believing, know-it-all opinionated pessimists I will never know.
I sometimes think I would enjoy reading interesting forum topics more if all the negative-Nancys ACTUALLY left instead of threatening too.
I'm stoked and get excited every patch day to see what new content has come out.
If any game mechanics change, I adapt to suit them.
If content isn't released that is promised, I act like an adult and wait patiently since there is a viable reason it wasn't.
When something like THIS is even hinted at, it puts me at the edge of my seat. I look forward to meeting clanner-scum on the battlefield!

I'm guessing you haven't spent the last *nearly* two years watching PGI poop on one of your favorite childhood IP's huh?
Clans early 2013? Trollollolol nope
CW 90 days after open beta? Trollololol nope
UI 2.0 after at least a year of it being mentioned? Trollololol nope
DX 11 after a year at minimum? Trollololol nope
Glacial development pace? Yep
Terrible community interaction? Yep
Ridiculous {Scrap} running rampant for long periods of time in game? Yep
Repeatedly breaking promises made to core founders? Yep
Dismissing said promises and founders as "their position at the time" or "no longer the target demographic"? Yep
Demeaning players via social media? Yep
Plenty of silly junk to waste MC/money on tho!! Make sure you run out and buy another mech pack!!
With all the money thrown their way, you'd think there would be some sort of positive progress within a years time.
People have plenty of reason to be upset and pessimistic.
but,you know, first world problems and all that.
Don't get me wrong,I really really do hope MWO pulls a rabbit out of it's hat and surprises the hell out of all of us.I really do hope PGI gets it's **** together and gets back on track to make this a truly amazing game; But , I just don't see it happening.
The foundation is there,It has the potential.I just don't think PGI can pull it off.and that sucks.
