Here's my gal

She's a micro ATX and It's impossible to fit a decent heat sink inside. That's pretty much the only thing keeping me from donating the box to a friend for MWO. Know someone who is in to these things? Please tell me where to find them.

This one's for you Loc Nar. What do you got?

I'd say get the Corsair H55 - it delivers some of the best thermals you can fit in that case, and the acoustic level is suitably low.

When I say "you can fit in that case", I mean you'll have to take a drill to the left side of your case so that you can secure it there. If you're not handy with tools, you'll need to look for something like the the Noctua NH-L12 (If you plan to use an optical drive there, make sure you have at least 70mm clearance for that one). Hope that helps.

Ha, that's gangster as fekk. I never considered surgery. I'm not opposed to the principal of the idea, but If I can get a HS that is popular with enthusiasts for this model, I'd just as soon go with that.

As for the Nocuta (and Newegg's stock in general), it's too tall. As you've said. I need something under 70mm and ideally something that moves air laterally rather than vertically, for obvious reasons.

Thanks for stopping by, but I'm looking for someone who's built this particular box (again, I hear there's a scene) and to see what worked best for them.

That thing was made for HTPC using stock cooling. Without fan mounts, you're pretty much stuck.

Not that you CAN'T get good cooling in something of that size, I run an H80i in my Cooler master elite 130.

Not that that helps YOU at all. . but not much I can recommend.
