Like it says on the tin. Looks good on paper to me, but I'd like some input before I spend all the cash on it.

I'm really leery of the idea of an XL engine in a Stalker. Stalker side torsos absorb the lion's share of the damage, this just looks like asking for an early death. OTOH, if you can manage a coordinated team, they should be able to cover your vulnerabilities while you take advantage of the massive firepower you can bring to bear.

You'll over heat too quickly using SRM6's, scale down to SRM4's maybe, and the stalker is not XL friendly the side torso's tend to go first.

A lot depends on your play style. If you want a big alpha strike, keep it, but don't use it unless you're in position to be shielded from enemy fire, because it'll shut you down quick from the heat. I personally go for smaller weapons; the alpha is smaller, but I overheat much less and more than makes up for the lighter punch.
And yeah, ditch the XL and go with a standard engine. Also, make sure you master the thing. The speed tweak and increased torso twist are what really makes a Stalker mean.

Unless you plan on being up front (bad to do with a Stalker) TAG is useless. Also 4 ERLLs runs too hot so for 3 damage less you can use 3 MLs and they would run much cooler without the risk of 45 heat (11.42 heat added from ghost heat). This will give you some tonnage to play with allowing for a STD engine and endo steel internals. This will leave plenty of room for an extra ton of SRM ammo to give you roughly 16 shots. The 5 SRM6s will be hot but it will only generate 23 heat (only +3 ghost heat) but will give you an alpha punch of 60 damage if they register. So for 3 million cbills less you keep the same speed, gain some armor and heat efficiency, lose 3 damage to your alpha but can shoot your SRMs more. http://mwo.smurfy-ne...18388ce9a7088fe Good luck and good hunting.

Too hot, you'll explode if a torso gets taken out with that.

The bigger the mech the less viable SRM's become.
It gets way to hard to track faster targets with the difficult to use / rarely registering damage SRM's.
You are far better off with LRM's or streaks.

Xl stalkers are very easy to kill, and with that load out it'll be real obvious you're an xl. Have you tried just a std 300 and 4ll? Chain fired it can be a beast when supporting brawlers. 27 ll shots back to back on canyon before I get a heat warning
Not super effective pugging, but really comes into it's own when doing suppressing fire or supporting some buddies
