10 bucks a mech is fine, and if you don't want to pay you can wait for the cbill variants to come out. You aren't paying to win you're paying to play with the toys early. Phoenix package showed us that the Phoenix variant mechs (which will be the prime mechs in the clan invasion) weren't necessarily the stars in the group anyway, and eventually we'll see hero versions of all the clan mechs anyway.

NOW 500 bucks for a GOLD painted mech that screams "SHOOT ME FIRST" is ridiculous there is absolutely NOTHING in all the inner sphere or periphery to warrant a 500 dollar paint job NOTHING. PGI rethink the gold mech thing, it serves no purpose and the buyer gets absolutely no value for the money they spend ...nothing.. but paint.....PAINT.

Now if Rapstars invaded the inner sphere you'd be fine, they'd love the BLING BLING package. But we're game enthusiast we like spending money on stuff that actually effects the game.. just something to think about.

and Rebelbrethen made a very good point about clan mechs being OMNIMECHS.... release some actual OMNIMECHS and maybe we'd consider paying cash for them.

Well, this is... surreal? Seriously, what were they thinking? Did some suit at IGP look at the Star Citizen crowdfunding campaign and think it could be applied to a MMO FPS that's already been released and is hemmhoraging players?

Like many others, I have been here since before the Founders packs. Bought that, and have been waiting VERY patiently for the rest of the "Game" to come along. More packages, more mechs, trinkets for your cockpit, but still no "game". Public release, out of beta! Nope, still no "game". We here all the time that things are in development (various stages) no dates, but they are coming... No 'game'. I for one have a great amount of patience, but I WILL NOT take your word for anything any more. Actions speak louder than words, and your actions obviously tell the community that you cannot be trusted to fulfill your promises, or deliver us a 'game'. I'll continue to play MW:O until you shut the servers down, but I will not put a penny into it, as SO MANY have said, until you deliver the 'game' and stop padding your bank accounts.

What needs to happen BEFORE I even think about spending money on this sim.

-CW
-Full details on implementation of Clans and Clan tech.
-Full details on IS/Clan matchmaking.

No one responds well to demands, I'm simply stating fact of my intentions. I have a nagging suspicion that a "FEW" others may have the same opinion.

Don't mistake the community loyalty to Battletech/Mechwarrior for blind/deaf/ and dumb.

It might have to do with a recent game that split away from IGP for Steam AFAIK.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence...

Nothing says Winning like a giant gold target standing on a battlefield. Maybe I can sell all the AC ammo my new mech will collect in it's armor to buy more mechs.

I honestly started reading this from page one... just to see the negative reactions... when I got to about page ten I noticed about another 30 pages of comments had been added as I read through 10 pages. If anyone from PGI is reading this I suggest you cancel that company vacation because it looks as if you are losing your support. I have been watching this game for a long time, only started playing around a month or so ago. In that time I've seen a lot of smoke meant to keep people interested (Mainly because of them being diehard BT/MechWarrior fans), but I haven't seen any tangible improvements that have been made as far as gameplay goes.
