my feedback via an email to support -

Dear PGI

having seen that there is no end to you cash grabs i.e. http://www.mwomercs.com/clans
and after discussing with my fellow gamers I no longer wish to be associated with your game.
I think it's disgusting that you attempt to charge so much for virtual items.

TY Brian...GUYS this is a good friend of mine...he has spent money on this game before...heck he probably has the money to buy fancy gold mechs and all.... I've asked him to post what he did to make a point...Plz think on this...ty all

Hey PGI, please explain why an Omni mech needs variants.

It's funny that if CW is implemented first the Clans will invade with IS mechs. ;)

And Star Citizen is now my official game.

You guys are out the door like last millenium's old garbage.

I was willing to put up with most of this stuff, not because I thought it would get better immediately, but because I didn't have much else to bother looking forward to. I stopped trusting you after ECM. I began actively speaking out after GH:tMO came around.

Now?

Now I'm just f***ing bitter. I've been in this since the last month of Closed Beta.

Ever heard of 'the straw that broke the camel's back'?

FYI, I'm going into game design as a major. I strongly suspect you guys will end up on the 'Examples' pages. And not the good one. That's where Chris Roberts lives.

Game design as a major is a joke. But I do agree with the rest of your post.

I have been a very staunch supporter for a very long time, but this, this is ridiculous. Id flying debris the only guy actually working there. I bought the phoenix pack, good deal still supporting the game when u.i 2.0 a merc units were 4-6 weeks out from your little launch party.

But now you want more money? And for what pgi/igp. Where is our u.i 2.0, where is cw, where is a reason to log on and play this game with 12 friends if we don't have a real game? I mean if it's going to be team death match for the next why can't you valve up and just sell cool hats?

We are once again with NO NEW INFORMATION, nothing concrete on what is actually going on with the state of the overall game but $240.00 packages and $500.00 mechs? Maybe people will buy it sure, but dam, if you don't do something to actually make a GAME out of this mech test bed, there won't be anyone left to play with by june.

You had better step up your game, I am starting to seriously rethink the money i have spent here as throwing good money after bad. I will not be spending any more money here until I see some actual progress on this game.

Every damn dollar you give them says you agree with the deadline slips and don't care about ever seeing community warfare or any of the features that have quietly been taken out back and killed, like melee options, integrated voip, true double heatsinks, individualized mech specialization trees, alternative sensor modes and information warfare, player organizations, etc. Every dollar says you'll wait forever, but keep paying in the mean time, and that's exactly what they want to hear.

I honestly do not understand the offer PGI is making:

1) How are Clan Mechs/ Clan Tech going to be implemented?
2) What are the modules that come with the package?
3) What is a Warhorn?
4) $500 for the color, or does it come with something that is brokenly pay 2 win? "Unique Bonus Module" screams of P2W potential.

PGI, I find your lack of clarity disturbing.

These guys love getting bashed by the community. They must keep a billboard of who's idea/post got the most hate.

It's either that or they have no common sense or a clear business plan.

It's bad business. Yeah there are people that pay half a grand in a game, but really pricing model could have been done so much better (and I'm not even saying cheaper, I'm talking about the model)

Yeah you brought back mechwarrior so thanks and all, but you guys make me lolz and facepalm so much.

Hope you get your money from the people that pay, and I say hope cause your business logic sucks.

Constructive criticism here.

I just think about this clan package, the timing and how it was implemented, and I just keep lol and facepalm. Thanks for making me laugh and for being clear examples of what not to do business wise.

I really don't know what you are defending here. They are adding new mechs and you think that's great. Fine.

I want to know how Clan mechs fit into Community Warfare.
I want to know what balance changes they made to the mechs and Clan equipment BEFORE I buy them.

Then you should have gotten a spot on the "Board", Apparently you missed out on that chance as well.

I don't know who is advising you in the marketing department, PGI, but withholding concept art is not a brilliant move on your part. We still cannot see the art for the Shadowhawk or Thunderbolt... two Mechs already available for Mech Credit purchase. You think this is creating a buzz, or is this simple oversight?

oh and "why the sam hell does an omnimech need variant chassis?"

I think they way they are going to "Balance" IS 'mechs with their Clan cousins is to simply NOT HAVE Omni 'mechs. As much as i still want to believe in PGI, I honestly would not put this past them. (And honestly that is the simplest way to balance them.) Easy way out!

What's funny is that these same mechs will probably be available for purchase with C-bills 2-3 months after the delivery date. If you just want your one special snowflake mech, grind for the next 6 months (ahaha), and then buy it with fake space money.

LOL who the hell is going to spend money on more mechs, when we don't even have the proper game mechanics after all this time. Nope, $240 buys a lot of shinys at Star Citizen.

I stopped playing this game a long time ago. I stopped playing before ECM, 3rd Person, and the others major problems this game has been plagued by. My group has played almost every iteration of Mechwarrior, and we have more and more people leave everyday. These are people who love the franchise, but this blatant money grabbing is not only an insult to the franchise but to the players who love it. This game had so much promise, and it has been ruined.

You have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

All the feedback here won't mean anything if the packages still sell well (which all have despite massive negative feedback on forums)

True Enough, Actions/Results speak louder than words. That is why my actions is to not buy until after CW. Doesn't this approach make sense?

I get the appeal of the $500 mech. Not many people will buy those, but for those fiscally wealthy few, it will be some cool bling to show off... it is not like we will see them in many matches, and when we do, I think it will be just one. But PGI really missed stepped by not providing some context around the sale. and holding off until after UI2.0 for the PRe-sale. I am really hoping CW implements prior to June. But can you blame me for not taking PGI at their word?

variants of omnimechs is just LOL. WTF PGI have you ever even seen battletech other than pictures before?

This... A thousand times this.

Clanners, this is our preview for how they're going to water down the Clans because they can't/won't balance with player numbers in a match. Clan mechs will be the same as IS mechs. Everyone will have access to Clan equipment. Even playing field.... balanced, right?

Right Mr. I?
