Spent around 2x the cost of a retail game on MWO

Enjoy the core game, but why is non mech content glacially slow?

NO CONTENT = NO PAY

Because Non mech content is a different department and takes far longer to actually make. They have spent most of there time putting out the fires of Instability with the game then actual content making.


Mech content is very easy to make, since its a cookie cutter hitbox mesh they place over any new mech model they make. So its very easy to crank them out.

Yes, I understand this as I am an IT professional myself.

However:
1) Maps will have some crossover with the art / texture / QA teams (possible reason for 1 map every 2-3 months)
2) Metagame was promised a long way back (see founders tag), and however many underlying bugs there are in the engine they should have delivered something by now. Even a simple faction standing and ladders (which we know they are capable of from the contests).

I understand that they have probably been forced into yet another round of mechs by the publisher , but what I want them to know is that this (previously) paying customer wont pay any more until they deliver metagame and more content, and no round of mechs is going to tempt me.
