Especially when they are catering to e-clebs. Here's a sterling example of Sync drop vs pugs for your pleasure.

first who tells you that it was a sync drop and second there's at least another team on the other side.

Maybe he means a group?

A sync drop in my mind is when a bunch of people on coms go 1...2...3... LAUNCH!!! and all try to get into the same match in an effort to avoid dropping against another group.

The 2nd lance of mariks plus the names makes me think that lance is a group. And I'll look for the source but I thought I read somewhere that premade groups, if any, will always show up in Alpha lance first, then Beta, then the rest filled with pugs. So there might actually be 2 premade groups in that first team even though Alpha doesn't match.

Though you can't really claim it was a stomp by showing the Ready screen. How did it end?

In that particular match they lost 4-12.

That's because they did not sync drop the way all these $#@$# exploit premades do.

It would have looked like this:

Lance 1:
ECM Atlas (heavy guns)
ECM Atlas (lrm boat)
ECM Atlas (lrm boat)
Highlander (poptart)

Lance 2:
ECM Atlas (heavy guns)
Jager DD (dual 20mm)
Jager DD (dual 20mm)
ECM Light or Medium (spider or cicada).

Lance 3: (non-premade)
Random selection of lights, meds and heavies (or since the ELO is fubar for tonnage, even more assaults!)

Why did you black out the scores, and QQ more. You guys don't know what pug stomps even are. It's nothing now, compared to what it used to be. And second I've been in complete pug teams where we own 12-1 or 12-0.

These forums are filled with freebirth crybabies.

I know female players in and out of my Clan that have more mettle.

And the battlefield will run salty with your tears.

In one this morning two guys in charlie said they were new. Before we could get to them and cover they were wolfpacked and wiped out. In chat "Get lost Noobs" Yep, gotta love the guys helping to make the game success. Of course we were on a keyboard so either had to drive or type directions. Trying to rescue we got jumped by the eight man. Match didn't last long and no real skills were shown. just concentrated fire and LRMs. Killing the game one stomp at a time.

What I see are two separate premades with a random group, who made some rather awful tactical errors while talking about the game and wound up dead. Joe is running stock. TotalBiscuit is too with Death's Knell. On the other end of things. On the opposite team, I'm noticing some coordination from the other team in that fight. To include a flanking manuever and focused fire.

o.O;

PGI is ok with pub stomps, but not because Garth and co happened to end up paired with a marik lance.

They're ok with pub stomps because they believe steamrolls to be sufficiently rare as to not be detrimental. I participate in or receive at least one or two a night depending.

If they had anything against pubstomping there would have been a lone wolf only queue a year and a half ago.

In other words, I'm seeing premades on the opposing team. Look at the end screen; notice they're a little more arranged? 4 Centurions in one lance. Premade.

Stalker, Cataphract 3D, Jager, Victor. Sounds pretty pre-arranged, but harder to prove as they spent more time working together with the first premade on the team opposite of Garth and them.

But if they both are, then that's 2 premades versus 2 premades. "For every premade there's a premade."

We'll call it... Ghost-groups. Where you start as a group but get thrown into separate matches.

This would be a great example!

Except there's premades on both sides

Try again sir.
