Aside from a handful of intelligent posts, this thread comes off as maleficent Napoleonism among a handful of displeased courtesans. And that probably sound incredibly harsh, but I bet it got your attention. If it did, please read on and hear me out before you hammer away with an angry reply.
Listen, project deadlines have been missed. That's a thing, it's happened. These things happen all the time. At the moment, we have a game that is free to play, everyone can win depending on their skill level. And let's face it, you're not exactly going to win friends within PGI by saying you want to take over the project and start from scratch.
One of the problems with this whole initiative is there aren't as many disgruntled players as you think. Night in and night out players continue to fill the queue. I think, largely because of the way things are expressed on the forum, the ones who are pretty satisfied with the game outnumber those who are not, and we don't know who those are because there's little incentive to voice contentment. Those who are content continue to go on fat dumb and happy. Were I to make a real-world comparison, this cause thinks it's the 99% protesting in Wall Street. In reality, I'd estimate the number is closer to 3%.
This is not to say that change shouldn't happen, I agree with you wholeheartedly on that. Things that were promised should be delivered post haste; however, I fear you're going about it the wrong way.
I await those angry replies now!
