Pug vs groups really sucks. From the very beginning it has been exploited by sync dropping groups. It's to the point where the user experience is about as frustrating as a dry orgasm. You get the excitement of playing robot wars online but you get nothing out of it. Community warfare will not fix a dry orgasm.

I don't buy the argument that groups are the minority. I have access to 6 different teamspeak servers and many people prefer to play in organized groups. However, when my friends are not online I have no choice but to play in PUG matches and believe me it's not enjoyable for anyone.

On occasion I drop in 12 mans at 1am. Sometimes no other 12 mans are available and we break up into 4 mans no big deal. As pilots we accept this fact. Most PUG matches are completely unbalanced in weight, skill, and experience. That does not translate into an enjoyable user experience.

Could you please increase the user experience with a matchmaking system that includes pug only matches and group only matches? I would prefer to get some official PGI response rather than the masses venting what we already know is a system that leaves much to be desired.

The mental imagery with the title is astounding... Where's my bleach?

You know me, I drop with my group 99% of the time. Why? Because I like to coordinate and communicate and even when attempting to do so in a PUG drop success is nil... On the flip side of that token, we got PUG players in comstar TS that drop and when they figure out who is where, they organize into full PUG 12-mans....

That is probably just in response to the feeling that groups are syncing, but to be honest, lance drops in my group accidentally sync more than on purpose and we never try for the full 12-man sync. At most 2 lances.... Usually end up on opposite sides or in totally different drops.

You want lame, we got groups in 12-man drops that are trying to sync together and if they don't get each other, they'll suicide and try again.... Imagine that 2-4 times in a row....

I would be highly suprised if anyone from PGI ever responds to this thread.

I'm attaching two images to demonstrate that pugs vs premades are really deteroriating the game. It does not matter how many new mechs are introduced to the game. PGI continues to ignore the fact that most matches are unbalanced and that ELO is not as effective as advertised. I played 50 pug matches in the last 24 hours and won maybe 5 matches. I played over 50 matches in a 4 man group in the last 24 hrs and won 10. You can do the math. As long as pugs have to play against premades the game will continue to frustrate most of the community. Matches go one way or the other with one side being out tonned or overmatched.

In case you missed my suggestion I'll say it again. Please increase the user experience by introducing a pug vs pug matchmaking system and premade vs premade system. Pug vs Premade will continue to erode the game to lower levels. Perhaps its why you have to ask so much for clan technology. Nobody wants to pay into a system that frustrates them. Did you get married so you could be frustrated the rest of your life? We choose our life mates carefully and we choose our gaming with as much prudence.
