What's with all the black screens tonight, I've had 3 so far, map starts to load and then nothing just a black screen? and when it boots me back to desktop and I log back in my mech is now in a game.

Im getting this often since the patch in November.
Will have to force close the game, disconnect/reconnect the router to get a different IP address to try again.
Usually need about 4 tries to get the game going, if I still fail on 5th tried I will sit that day out and play something else.

Those who are having this issue... have you tried running the repair tool?
Personally, I have not had this problem, other than being in matches where 1-4 discos happen and having to deal with the imbalanced match.

What repair tool, also over the last couple of days, im getting real bad lag issues, to a point were you cant play, and I've never suffered from lag before.

There's a repair tool in the launcher, iirc. It checks all the game files and fixes corruption.

It's always been a separate tool that you need to download and install. not part of the launcher/patch process. also note when you run the repair too have it clear the shader cash. you might gain a few extra FPS

Community Warfare is much more important than fixing any problems at all.
That and selling new mech packages of course.
