Then go buy some from Iron Wind Metals if you need to fulfill the urge to paint? B)

Yeah, hopefully no more delays. It would be super cool to get MWO model minis in a quality plastic or resin soon too.

Surely the IP is popular enough to warrant it.

Yeah, that stinks. Wonder what held them up?

The only store that I could find that sells BT was a hobby shop about 30 miles away, They told me that they had some stuff on back order for the last several months, all I could do was leave them my email, so they could contact me when they got them in.

Its meant to be out soon. And not a moment too soon-i have a Summoner on order and an Alpha lance that is awaiting its HBK-4G.

It would be a great way for me to get into the tabletop game.

Long street release waits are par for the course with BT.

Just look @ the claimed dates and be happy if things work like they should.

CGL doesn't have their own presses, like, say, the D&D ip holders.

Cover art is sweet. Dig the atlas having the laser points on top of the hands too.

I know it's another Alex Iglesias artwork so it's not amazingly surprising, but the Atlas on the box looks strikingly close to the MWO Atlas, even compared to other flyingdebris Atlases. Maybe it's not too much hope to hold out for a PGI/CGL/IWM collaboration?

As for the box set currently scheduled (and somewhat delayed for release) it's not gonna happen, because minis are based on IMW designs.

Alex was just commisioned to draw the cover artwork, and, as always, he did incredible job :D

Oh, I'm aware of that, but at the end of the day commissioning Alex to do the art means Catalyst get to say what it should look like. As you mentioned, Alex is an incredibly talented artist, and is capable of producing art in many styles depending on what Catalyst want. If the current Catalyst artistic vision looks somewhat like what MWO looks like, we may see that same artistic vision guide IWM to a more Alex/MWO feel too.

I (and many others) have been hoping for something like this (revamping of classic artwork) for years, and it didn't happen.

Frankly, I lost that hope :D

I'm only worried that they'll leave battlemaster instead of thor :D
Earlier packages with summoner were much more interesting than this, but still I want to get my hands on it :D
