I don't know if this is the right Forum sub-topic area to discuss this, but the disconnect issues due to botting and those that want to farm a ot of C-Bills is getting rediculous. I've been playing just over a monh, and I have started noticing at least 2 disconnects in approximately 60% of games. One game had 5.
This really puts a hardship on the team that is down 1 to 2 players just out of the gate. Trying to overcome odds is difficult and most time impossible. This makes many Mechwarriors pissed off, and is strting to ruin gameplay...especially knowing that these $%#@esare farming C-Bis at our expense.
My recommendation to stop C-Bill farming disconnects is to tweek the game so that if someone disconnects from the battleground they don't recive any C-Bills from that batte at all. IMO, that wil stop the botters/farmers.
Thanks -Damonwolf

That's basically the way it already works. If you quit a match before you die you only receive the c-bills you earned up to that point. Therefore if someone disconnects at the start of the match they receive nothing.

While people disconnecting is frustrating, more often than not it's even more frustrating for the person being disconnected. The thing to bear in mind is that a lot of the time it isn't actually someone that doesn't know how the system works trying to to farm c-bills, it's a person whose game either crashed or for one reason or another was unplayable. Unfortunately the game has more than one known bug that can cause a person to crash or render their game unplayable. To make matters worse the patcher is notoriously dodgy, whenever you download a patch it's really pot luck as to whether the patcher breaks your game or not.

Actually Anubis969, you're wrong on this. You earn C-Bills regardless if you do anything or not. I read your post, then tried an experiment. I entered a battle then immediately logged out. I eaned 89,047 C-Bills...for a a fight I was not in, but my mech was. Imagine people or their bots running several mechs at the same time, DCing, and entering another battle on another mech. And, yes, you can run multiple mechs at the same time.

This is BS.

Another way to fix this is what I suggested, and also only allow 1 mech to be run from any one account. Please fix this {Scrap}...it's definitely taking away from the fairness and enjoyability of the game.

Note: I apologize to the other 11 people that were in that battle.

Are you absolutely positive your c-bill count was up to date (sometimes the mechlab can be a bit behind) and that you didn't already have a 'mech in a match? The reason I ask is because it is theoretically impossible to earn that amount of c-bills from a match without taking any action.

Lets look at my match earnings from the last game I played:

Of the c-bills I earned, only the participation bonus (referred to on the screen simply as "win") and the salvage bonus were rewarded regardless of my actions. Together that comes to only 40,560 c-bills. Add on my 'mech bonus (12,168) and my premium bonus (20,280) and you have 73,008 c-bills. That's over 10k short of what you say you received.

Therefore either you are mistaken or you have discovered a serious bug. If you can prove it's the later then you need to report it to support: support@mwomercs.com
