A Basic Grunt Vehicle unit, used by the DCMS. It simply brings withering firepower into an area, at medium speed and with heavy armor. 160 MRMs is no joke. That is 160 damage, enough to kill assaults mechs, and vehicles outnumber mechs several to 1.

What exactly do you want to tell us with that? There is already a MRM-Carrier, it's a variant of the LRM-Carrier. Also, with 100 tons and a price of close to 16 million C-Bills, that design is far away from a "Basic Grunt Vehicle unit". With that price you won't outnumber mechs because you can get an assault for that money (in fact nearly 2 AS7-Ds) or 8 Demolisher tanks.
No one in their right minds would pay that much money for a support vehicle like that.

And the only viable tactic with that speed is to hide it and hope that someone comes close enough for a pot shot. That may be a good tactic for a disposable unit like the SRM-Carrier (which also is faster than your design), but not for a 16 million uni. You can get 8 SRM-Carriers for that. And that's 480 missiles which also do 2 points of damage each.

For that price i can get MANY MRM30 Urbies. And be far more effective with them.

These are both quicker than the OP, too.

OP will learn how to build stuff. The way I learned is by posting on Solaris7.com. The regulars over there can tear down just about any build pretty effectively, so it helps you learn. BV and cost are things you have to factor if you intend to play balanced games.
