I don't know if the devs listened to our feedback or if they always intended Manifold to be silent, but it works. It sounds awesome. And I love it that things go silent when you switch to 3PV.

Well done.

It's as though they saw the movie "Gravity" and said, "Oh, hell yes...!"

I agree, the sounds on the HPG map are awesome, and should be the default sounds EVERYWHERE.

Pros : beautiful sounds

Cons : Still would hear impact sounds. No echo's, but definitely thuds. Also, AMS and MG would still have sounds.

I like that the reduction in noise seems to make everyone's situational awareness so much lower. I'm sure that this will pass, and everyone will learn to use thier radar better.

So far, I've only had one drop on the map, but I do like it. It is so different from the other maps it almost feels like a different game. My only concern is that I couldn't tell when I was being shot and before I knew it I was cored. But I think that was mostly my fault for not having better awareness. The sounds from your own weapons firing are absolutely epic.

I love it. Without the sensory input from the sounds of nearby units and enemies, it changes how you need to think about the fight. Relying on eyes and radar exclusively. Crazy awesome.
