They said it was always a possibility, but that right now they seem to be getting enough traffic as is.

You can run it as an external steam game and have the steam overlay, but you must run steam and mwo as admin.

This is a bad idea. MWO and Steam do not get along at all.

I know many of my other friends to be more likely to play this game is there was some form of steam support. Or just buying the game through steam would be nice; my friends tend to not trust going through the site directly for some odd reason.

Yes, and while you're on it change community warfware for the community workshop so i can finally stack hats upon my atlas.

Seriously, the steam forums would look even more grim than these forums.
