After my Madcat was finished i am now starting the Thor. May take a bit longer due to the christmas break to complete. I got a head start because its an Omni mech it uses the sdame arm as the madcat just with a PPC put in it. There are no weapons in it now though.

Looks great! Especially the back, lots of delicious detail. My one gripe would be that his upper-arm is too skinny for my liking but otherwise he'll look great when he's done.

Same question here.
I feel it may be very dangerous there. Besides, it would be another 'Mech.
Moreover.. What is that cockpit over the shoulder for then? :)

I think Hammur might have designated that block as the Summoner's sensor location.

Fifteen missiles in the tubes and theyre a sensible size, I like it  I am interested to see how you depect the LB10X.

Oh yes, maybe if you touch the wall behind you can feel the heat of the fusion reactor

The cockpit is on the shoulder. The centre is a sensor cluster protected by a ferroglass shield. If you look closely you can see the instraments through the glass. Left arm complete waiting for LBX pod, right arm "beefed".

I would say that sensor pod is vulnerable in that position. It may be better protected by some ferro-fibrous armor.. :D

Looking good! The right arm looks a lot better beefed up.

Interesting. I like most of the details, though the back is actually the highlight. The front just has a slightly unfinished feel, and the torso feels like it is lacking in depth, tooo flat, for my tastes.

That siad the overall quality of the render, and individual details are indeed very nnice!

Looks Great ... I really wished I had a program that can come up with decent design for my Anubis... and wish I had the skill/knowledge how to use the program to come up with a good design like your Thor. :D envious
Keep it up. Good work.

Cockpit still needs a bit more rounding, not much but still a bit blocky.

The front torso looks a bit like a plain wall, and is missing its iconic "triangle".

This will be a blast to watch, love people who has the time and patience.
