+1 for the new map in general. Love it, focuses on brawling and quite well made. Alot of fun to play on, custom sound effects are neat and the overall feel is in general just a joy.

I wouldn't know, 2 days of play, 30 odd games - zero new map.
Plenty of terra-therma though... fun times.

I always sacrifice a digital lamb before I play to avoid this.
I kinda miss how they used to increase map rotation of new maps so you played them more, but then you also got sick of the new map faster. Maybe they could just bump it a little for the first day.

I to actually enjoy the map, visually its to "Borg-ish" for me but the layout is great. My friend and I figured out a way to get to the large side walls and run across the top of them, you can hit almost any target from almost anywhere on the map up there as long as you have long range weapons but you are horribly exposed and is best used for flanking. Requires mechs with JJ.
I only have one problem when I get the map, and it doesn't have anything to deal with the map but rather some of the people who are ignorant on why weapons sound different or the fact we hear anything at all, and some who can't wrap their brain around the concept of a moon having near Earth gravity, and I, as well as some others in the drop have to explain it to them and yet they are still clueless.
I'd also enjoy more maps like this, perhaps we could get one with low gravity, but to keep the low grav effect simple, PGI can make it so it really only effect JJs, such as JJ mechs can jump significantly higher, however, they have a very long hang time as they slowly descend to the surface. One would most definitely would not want to employ poptarting tactics unless they want to be horrifically beaten to death like a pinata.

Those battleship grey mechs are tough to see in the distance.
Love this map, the sounds are amazing. It has such a unique feel. Easily my favorite map.

The Design as Arenamap like Ut is ...okay ...the Texturing a Disaster ...Never use a texture set for everything, never for walls, ceilings and floors ... create visual variety to the eye, details (Interieur!) ... almost any UT2004 Map looks better ... the map designers heard demoted

I like them all though I have some leadt favorites. I always seem to choose the wrong mech for the river city's. But, learning different mech play on the different maps keeps the game challenging to me. I don't mind some things being difficult when I first drop. Plus, I always tak a couple spins in the training grounds to get a feel for new maps.
I'm damned happy to be shooting stompy mechs overall. Keep it up pgi. I'm patient enough to wait on content because I'm not paying for it...
