Is there a good site that lists the clan mechs and their variants? Since we won't be able to swap around engines and armor and stuff the PGI versions should match those real close and at least we know for sure we're getting the prime variants. Just trying to make up my mind as to which gold KHAAAAAAAN mech I want MUAH HA HA HA!
Also does the gold only come on the prime variant or will we get to pick which variant? Hopefully it's on all variants or at least they let you choose, but it seems pretty unlikely.
Also OT, but if someone wants to buy me the gold mech I'll gladly pay you back in bitcoin

There you go, it lists most of the canon mech stuff for the IS and the Clans. Also a great site to look up lore.

Thanks Voidsinger.
I've checked out sarna but it doesn't have stuff like armor and engine ratings for all the variants. I guess I can start there, but if there's another place that has them in a nice spreadsheet layout that'd be ideal. Is there a clan invasion TRO book I could pick up?

Yes, the Technical Readout 3050 Upgrade by Catalyst Game Labs.
Armour and engine ratings don't vary among the listed variants of Omnimechs in 3050 though. Only the weapons, electronics, heatsinks and jumpjets vary according to the mission.
I must caution though, there are changes from Battletech stats:
- Armour is doubled for MWO.
- Damage on energy weapons varies, and solid shot is not available for the LB-X autocannons in MWO.
- Heat from weapons fire varies, and runs a very different heat scale.
- We don't know how PGI/IGP/7G/Fonds will implement the variants.

This was a very helpful breakdown from SerEdVard on the NGNG Forums I found a day or 2 after the Clan pack release.

No, it does not list armor. But it does have the engine ratings, they are in the right hand column. The nature of Omnimechs is that ALL configurations have the same armor and engine (and a few other fixed components), but the weapons (and a few other pieces of equipment) are installed as interchangeable components.
If you desire more detail you could download MegaMek (a Java based recreation of the table top game that MWO is based upon) and poke around mechs on that. Or Solaris Skunk Werks, which has unit stats available in one of their downloads. Keep in mind that MWO armor values are double of what appears in the table top game.
