So for the past month or so I couldn't help but notice that it is really easy to take out.

Seems like every other time I decide to bring my BM out on the battlefield I will either nearly lose or lose my cockpit.

Also noticed this through shooting them my self and spectating others in it.

I know it's got a big cockpit but it shouldn't be a bulls eye for an easy kill. You should have to work for it, not just blindly shooting at the center torso and then your cockpit is left with no armor.

Just saying, devs pls change this!... After all when was the last time you saw an atlis get taken out like that.

Hmmm-----

I was headshot in my BLR on my very first match.

And haven't been headshot, or even damaged that I noticed in over 100 matches since. Perhaps you should try moving?

The only time I've successfully cockpit killed a BLR was when I was in a Locust. We were exchanging LL fire at around 1100 meters, my LL was ER, his was not. But he stood there and kept tagging me with a LL that was past range, and I used Advanced Zoom to repeatedly slap his STATIONARY mech in the face. The only other time I came close was in a BLR vs BLR fight, apparently after he received a "Head critically damaged" warning he realized I knew the hit boxes pretty well and started defensively torso twisting like a madman, never got another shot on his cockpit after that.

I'm not sure if I've ever been cockpit'd in any of my BLRs... Maybe once?

In honestly, I hate it what I see I got a solid cockpit shot. It's so unreliable to hit it again hard enough to take out the mech that it really means you soaked a full hit that did nothing for the attacker. Unless you're in a catapult. Then I twist like a pro-dancer and stay at range behind people... that cockpit is huge even if you twist (but you still get one hit for free in most situations).

I have 2 mastered and have never died to a headshot. I run XL390, so my speed might make it difficult for enemies, like they said earlier try moving.
