Hi guys,

Never noticed lava damage up to today. I was climbing the ramp under theta and was still getting enough damage to die. 40 or so armor +both legs destroyed. Yes, i wasnt paying attention since i never noticed the damage before. I think its now either a bug or either walking trough lava is now not a viable option.

Actual heat was added in one of the patches not to long after the map was introduced.

Yes, lava damage is a fairly new addition. Which is why you never noticed it before.

When you walk in lava you heat up. After you reach ~90% heat you start taking damage.

Well I wasnt in lava anymore and died of lava damage.
