Help!
I used to play this game, but then there was a patch that destroyed everything.
It's telling me to delete old copies of the game, so please help me, where are they, and how can I in four easy steps play this game again?
Thanks ahead of time.

Look in your Program Files folder for 'Piranha Games' and delete it (if just uninstalling it didn't work). Then, download the game again from the site, run the patcher, update it to current, and play!
In theory. Never seen this problem before, could be shoving words out of my cloaca.

Wow, your old copy of the game must be really old. What do you mean by "It's telling me to delete old copies of the game"? Is this a message from the patcher? A screenshot would be very helpful.
You should be able to go to the windows add/remove program and Uninstall it from there.
Here is an email from MWO's support team for their recommended steps to remove MWO to give you a clean slate. Also I suggest running the patcher "as administrator".
