I also like this map. It looks great, plays great, and the sounds rock.
Well done, PGI.

I like the map. The detail of the sounds is welcome, but would have preferred to put more corridors and more intrincade tunnels that it has.
It deserves a 7.5 or 8 out of a total of 10

Its not bad. But I wouldn't mind seeing a few tweaks to it. Like adding sound to your own mech getting hit/taking damage. Sound outside the mech would be muffled/dead like it is now. But your internal environment would produce sound. Also a few ramps up to the exterior maze walls might liven it up a bit. Right now they seem to have no real purpose other than to funnel players into the middle, king-of-the-hill spot.
Not sure why, but the moonscape parts outside of the central area always remind me of this:

I agree, that I would like to hear my damage more. Other then that, I like the map. As I like to play Jump capable mechs the multilevel setting is great. My last match on it, there was about 5 of us, friend and foe, jumping up and down at each other. The Brawl was great ever moving up and down, with non jumping mechs fighting on several levels with other non jumping mechs and the jumping ones. I got killed in midair, as I was trying to pounce on a mech. Shot in the back by a jumping enemy. Good times!

Its not the best map, for me that's still Tourmaline, but it is very welcome. HPG introduces our first true off world map; literally on a god forsaken moon with no atmosphere, things don't get more desperate than that. What I do like is the work that has gone into the sound effects; I actually got taken out the other night because I didn't hear any incoming fire, that's scary.

No sound to carry the vibrations mate.
however, rule #3 of the Laws of Anime Physics says - Law of Sonic Amplification, First Law of Anime Acoustics - In space, loud sounds, like explosions, are even louder because there is no air to get in the way.

Well everyone has their own opinion. And its nice to see some of the ideas. But my personal opinion after playing it for two weeks I love this map. I could play on this map so many times in a row and would not complain once.
