So here it is almost finished, I have one more thing to do really and its ready to cast.

http://scott-messyde...much-ready.html

I built it as close to the original TRO art as I could, maybe a few more panel lines are needed but thats easy enough.

Sorry, no prices yet. The masters are at my casters and he's working out the costs for rubber and resin.
But since its a smaller kit Im expecting it to retail for the $50 area.

Im trying to get a feel for it now, I dont want to have 30 copies if only 12 will sell. But as long as I get orders Ill make sure I have some handy.

What kind of a timeframe are you looking at before these go on sale?

I imagine with a limited production run they'll probably go pretty fast. I really want to buy one, but after dropping $120 on the legendary pack, 50 is a big purchase right now for a model kit, so I'm hoping the supply will last long enough for my wallet to recover.

Hey Coop....why am I not suprised your siggy has an Argus? I hope your Locust sells better than the Cougar. Out of at least 15 commitments, only 11 paid up. Fortunately, I broke even. I think one think working in your favor is that this kit is smaller and will cost less than some of our other kits. Another is that the Locust is just Classic Battletech...it spans the generations.

WARNING TO OTHERS: Do not hijack my comments with the old "its really a Crusher Joe mech...." poop. Stick with my intent.

I like the Argus. ;)
The Locust is at my casters. He will work out the costs of rubber and resin and how much for 30 kits(the usual life span of a rubber mold)
Once we've settled on the costs it'll take about 3-4 weeks to get the finished kits in my hands. At which point I'll box them up with a sheet of decals and get them out.
So lets figure mid to end of July for kits in hand
